When you use your Delta Dental insurance, you’ll find that your preventive appointments are typically covered in full. This means that your routine six-month cleanings and checkups are already paid for, so it’s important to get those visits scheduled so that you can take advantage of your benefit each year.
If you should find yourself with a tooth in need of treatment or repair, however, Delta Dental insurance policies will cover a portion of that treatment up to your yearly maximum, which is the total yearly amount that is allowable. Depending on your plan, there may also be a deductible applied each year as well.
