Your First Visit

Before Your Appointment
Before arriving for your first appointment with Dr. McIntosh, we will email all the forms that you will need to prepare for your new patient appointment and provide you with information about our dental office and the services that we offer. We would encourage you to review these before visiting us for the first time so that you may get the most out of your visit. Also, if you have dental benefits, we will help to determine your coverage and minimize the hassle of having to deal with your insurance company yourself.
At Your Appointment
To make sure that you have an amazing experience, you’ll always be greeted by a member of our team as soon as you walk in the door. We also offer refreshments in our waiting room for you to enjoy before your appointment. If it’s your first visit with us, we’ll give you a tour of our office and talk to you about our treatment philosophy and the principles that guide us.
Following your exam, Dr. McIntosh will review your results with you and answer any questions you might have. We’ll also discuss a treatment plan with you, if necessary. Before starting any treatment, though, we’ll make sure you’re completely informed and comfortable with what we recommend. After Your Appointment
After your visit, you’ll receive a follow-up call from Dr. McIntosh or your hygienist to ensure that you’re doing well and to see if there is anything else that we can do for you. Of course, we will also say “thank you” and that we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Dental Patient Forms
There is no need to wait until you reach our office to complete your new patient paperwork. Instead, you can fill out the forms online ahead of your appointment! This makes the check-in process easier and more streamlined so that you spend more time in the dentist’s chair instead of the waiting area.
If you’re an existing patient, you can use our secure patient portal to easily complete several different tasks, from viewing your treatment history and requesting an appointment to viewing your balance and paying your bill. Simply sign in with your email address and password or create an account if you haven’t already.

Our team will always do what we can to accurately estimate your out-of-pocket costs.
